The Crimson Club is based on the Kapiti Coast. We specialise in effervescent interpretation of classic songs with a splash of French Cabaret, Classical heart and original tunes!

Our dynamic line up of vocals and violin, accordion and high-hat, cello and kick drum (simultaneously), and percussion with a sprinkle of theremin brings a truly original take on some great classic tunes with a strong repertoire of French classics including Edith Piaf, Marie Laforêt and Thomas Fersen. The line-up features Shona Jaunas (vocals, violin) Dr Mel Garber (accordion, Theremin, vocals, percussion) and Janet Holborow (cello, vocals, alto flute and bass drum) and Delia Shanly percussionist extraordinaire.  Married to a Frenchman, Shona is bilingual and presents a bilingual French/English show.

They have been playing together since 2008 and have performed at Festivals, theatres and events throughout the Wellington region.

Ewen Coleman from the Dominon Post wrote, “experienced musicians who work together exceptionally well and have a great time on stage.”
